These managers were all rumoured to be linked to West Ham as managers...

Benitez...Emery...Klopp...Allegri...Mancini...Moyes...Bielsa...Ranieri...McClaren...

All Proven Managers with better records than Bilic...much better choices than Bilic...

So I have revised my statement ...

...".. Bilic was my 10th Choice..."

Bilic was my 7th Choice..

Tex, I'm sure your a nice bloke but I would like to know who your first 6 choices were then (realistic ones only please)! Some of the comments on this site aren't even as good as ridiculous!

Now going to be even harder for Cresswell and Jenkinson as managers will look to them as our big weakness.

Totally agree mentor ever since Reid signed the contract when he realised clubs weren't lining up to sign him he looks second rate.

Really...we're laying into the club and team after THREE games !

Sure, we're not looking great at the moment but we have new Manager, new players and trying to play a new style....this will take time to come together. Quite conceivabley most of the season. Sure, it's frustrating as we think teams like Bournemouth and Leicester should be put away by 3/4 each time, yet the truth is there are no easy games in the Premier League.

I like SB he is measured in his comments and knows what he's trying to achieve. He is a step forward from Allardyce.

As for those slating the owners...beggars belief IMO.

Who do we have next up?..clearly me and Mrs Marten will need to re-arrange the lounge furniture so as to get in behind the sofa to watch through our fingers.

COYI !

West Ham are shit, that's the sad truth.

The sooner we get Song fit and Carroll back the better.

We have been crying out for forwards for a year so what do w do? Buy defenders and midfielders.

Cresswell = Schemmel

Someone said that they thought Noble would surprise us this season.

They're right, he's even worse.

Well said Baggins.

I couldn't understand the Ogbinna sub, it should have been Jenko.
And as for starting Nolan, that was a wasted sub. Jarvis or Maiga would be a better option, and that says a lot about our bench!

Baggins, I agree there. I said this over on the Bilic thread.. the signs were there against Leicester, full backs getting exposed in this system. Either we don't seem to have a wide mid who drops back and helps when defending, or that person isn't doing their job.

One of the worst things yesterday was that bouremouth's team was basically the same as last year plus gradel. Eddie "not good enough to manage us" Howe has got them playing well.

Re: West Ham v Bournemouth - Official Match Thread 3-4 FT
I think we have issues with the formation. Bournemouth must have got in behind Cresswell five or six times in the first half, with the player having all the time in the world to pick out a teammate in the middle. That indicates something isn't working as it should be and the manager needs to resolve that, fast.

But.....no team in the world can afford to give away three goals on a plate via individual errors and expect to win games. The mistakes made by Cresswell and Jenkinson were just unbelievable and their individual performances were woeful. Jenkinson in particular did nothing right the entire game. There were suggestions amongst us hat he be taken off after half an hour, it was so obvious hoe bad he was playing. One of the worst performances I've seen from a full back playing for us. Thank fuck he isn't playing next week.

It's okay though everyone, because Bilic's Evening Standard column will be a BREATH OF FRESH AIR.

Yesterday had nothing to do with our full backs being pressured into mistakes, they were just SHIT. Cresswell being to complacent and Jenkinson being so far off the pace in fitness terms.

At one point Jenkinson ran/jogged into Gradel by their box with the ball and had to bust a gut to get back.

The second half again showed (for a period) that if we play then we can cause every team problems.
